Tampa Bay Video Service was hired by the famous Mervin Shiner to capture his 99th birthday at his Tampa, Florida home.
“Merv” is a retired country singer and guitarist best known as the first to record “Here Comes Peter Cottontail.”
The shoot included two-camera coverage of his birthday party which mostly included music performed by a group of friends.
Shiner was provided DVD copies of his big day which include a 7 minute trailer and an a hour plus run through of the music palyed.
This was an extremely fun project to shoot and it was an hour to meet a man witch such great story. There are talks about covering Merv’s 100th birthday.
